What happens to your codes if something goes wrong

Free static codes

Static codes contain your link directly inside the pattern. They never touch our servers, so an outage — or ForeverQR disappearing entirely — can't break them.

Pro codes during an outage

Pro codes route through our short links. If redirects go down, scans fail until we restore service — we'll post updates here and email affected owners for anything longer than a brief blip. Your codes, destinations and settings are not lost.

If ForeverQR ever has to wind down

We'll give owners advance notice by email and keep exports available, so you can point your printed codes' destinations to wherever you need while you reprint. Read the exact wording of our commitment on the promise page.

Every account can download all codes, destinations and scan history as CSV or JSON from the dashboard in one click. No request form, no waiting, no lock-in.
