Terms of Service
Last updated: July 17, 2026
ForeverQR (the "Service") is operated by Scott Mackay, sole proprietor, based in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: Visionarydevpro@gmail.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service does
ForeverQR lets you create QR codes. Static codes encode content directly and are unlimited and free. Pro codes are editable short links you purchase in one-time packs; the QR image points to a redirect we host so you can update the destination later.
2. Our promise on Pro codes
As long as ForeverQR remains in business and financially able to operate, every Pro QR code you have paid for will continue to redirect. We will not deactivate your codes simply because you choose not to buy more. No company can guarantee it will exist forever — natural disasters, major market shifts, or other forces outside our control can affect any business — but while we are here, we will protect the codes you create with us.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you delete your account, your Pro codes remain active and can be reclaimed by signing up again with the same email.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use ForeverQR to:
- Distribute phishing, scams, malware, spyware, or credential-harvesting pages.
- Host or link to illegal content, including CSAM.
- Harass, threaten, or defame others.
- Impersonate a person or organization you have no right to represent.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, or export-control laws.
- Interfere with the Service (rate-limit evasion, scraping abuse, etc.).
We may disable Pro redirects that violate these rules. This is narrowly scoped to abuse and does not weaken the promise in Section 2 — the promise is about pricing, not about hosting illegal or harmful content.
5. Payments
Pro packs are one-time purchases processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD. Because Pro slots are granted immediately on payment and used to create editable codes, purchases are generally non-refundable. If you believe your purchase was made in error or was not delivered, email us within 14 days and we will work with you in good faith.
6. Content you generate
You keep all rights to the content you encode (URLs, text, images used for picture QR codes, etc.). You grant us the minimum rights needed to operate the Service — storing your saved codes so you can retrieve them, resolving Pro redirects when someone scans a code, and logging anonymized scans.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces functionality you have paid for, we will notify affected users where reasonably possible.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or CAD $50 if you have not paid us anything.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, especially the acceptable-use rules. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payments, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) will continue to apply.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
ForeverQR is operated from British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or purchasing from anywhere in the world, you agree that these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, with exclusive venue in the courts of British Columbia.
You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your own country or region. Consumer-protection statutes of jurisdictions outside Canada do not extend our obligations beyond what these Terms provide, except to the extent your local law grants mandatory non-waivable rights that continue to apply by force of that law. See our Refund Policy for how this applies to purchases.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders.
